Imagine it’s junior year and you’ve been waiting and wanting a little sibling your whole life and your mom tells you she’s pregnant. That was me my junior year I was very excited when I got the news I’ve always wanted a sibling . I never cared if it was a boy or girl I just wanted a sibling . Having a little siblings is harder then you think I thought it was all fun and games and laughs until I changed my firsts diaper. They are a hand full i've had zero siblings my whole life until I was seventeen so I didn’t know anything about kids or how to take care of them but I figured it out . Having a little brother is different it’s not the same with your parents or your house hold it all changes .I love my little brother his names Kameron hes three years old now. Having Kameron in my life has changed me for the better I strive everyday to be a better brother for him and to be a great example. I don’t know how he sees me yet but I know these stages are important. He sees me and my mom lock the door all the time and one day he locked me on the porch . I had to jump off of the balcony to get back in the house I still havent told my mom about it .I thought I broke my leg it was hurting for almost 3 days . Ive never been so mad at Kameron before in my life I hardly get mad at him but that day I was furious . Since ive moved down here I haven't spent much time with him since I stay here and he stays with my grandmother in Oklahoma . I miss him a lot I try my best to face time him as much as I can but where my grandmother stays its little service. For his birthday this year he came back to Dallas to see my mom but I couldn’t make it home because I had work. Missing his third birthday sucked but I’m just glad he was happy he got to see some of his other cousins and family members. I love having someone looking up to me although I dont make the best choices it helps me make better ones when hes watching. I know he doesn’t understand the stuff I do because he’s not old enough but wen he’s of age I just wanna be the person he can look up too and ask questions especially since his father isn’t in his life . My dad just recently left my life my freshman year but kamerons dad hasn’t had anything to do with his since birth . So I just want to be the best influence I can since he doesn’t have anyone else. I love having a little sibling having a little brother made me a better person and more responsible I love Kameron and I wouldn’t trade him for the world .
